Chapter Chat 9.9.21

 

For this week's Chapter Chat, I worked with Imogen, and we made a poisonous lipstick that has Inland Taipan Snake Venom in it. Inland Taipan Snakes are the most venomous animals in the world. There are ten different beautiful colors are you are sure to make people jealous with your beautiful lips. When you put on the lipstick it doesn't poison you. We named it The Death Kiss.

 This week for Play, Make, Create we read The Three Billy Goat Gruffs. You were allowed to work in a pair or by yourself I worked alongside Imogen and Sophie. We didn't have an idea so we made a scarecrow to help make Mrs. Heaven's problem go away.

 This week for Play, Make, Create we watch a guinea pig video based on the Olympics. We got to choose our task and make it. This week, we all had to work by ourselves and I made three medals: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. The hardest part was putting the plat through the holes to tie them together. my favorite one is the Gold medal.

 This week for Play, Make, Create our story was called Mrs. Blackhat. I worked with Sophie and we made a little book the front has black and then you open it up and there are rainbow things. We have a hat, shoes, dress, tights, and googles in black and white. I liked the coloring part because we could color it any way we wanted in rainbow.  The black was easy because it was one color the whole time. I think that this was my favorite one yet.

Today for Play, Make, Create our book was called We Are All Equal.I worked with Sophie and did create and made a playground. I think our monkey worked well because we got it hanging on to the monkey bars. We also made a panda with bamboo and a snake on a slide. I think we could have added a little place that has bananas for the monkey and worms for the make.

 This week for Play, Make, Create, our book was called Rain Before Rainbow. I made a map to find a prize it leads you to flowers, exercise room bedroom, and the bathroom. The prize said YOU ROCK and I am going to stick some chocolate on it. My favorite clue is the I get used when kids are here. I go fast and slow. I worked by myself and I think I worked well.

Whetu Challenge

 Last week for Whetu Challenge we made a tower out of newspaper. For this week's Whetu Challenge we also did a tower out of newspaper. But this time we had tips and tricks and a base. In my group, I had Azahliah, Miller, and Eli our base was a triangle. Our tower was 2 meters and 53 cm we rolled the newspaper to make sure it was tight. Then we taped them together.
